I was born and raised in Washington DC, and have an incredibly supportive family from all around the world. Growing up with different cultures and people with different behaviors lead me to become interested in analyzing human behavior. I decided to pursue this interest at Boston University and major in psychology. However, that was not my first decision. I initially entered BU as a math major. I have always been a numbers person, and math is something I find satisfaction in. As I started my first year taking a psychology class, I quickly realized that my passion for math and psychology could come together through research. I changed my major to psych and focused on data analyses of psychological research. Along the way, I discovered the programming world, and ever since have been teaching myself different programming languages, as well as how to analyze data through such programs.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my friends and family, as well as making time for myself to pursue my hobbies. I love making music on the synthesizer and drums, and sometimes jamming with friends! I also love going to concerts, whether it’s in someones basement or a stadium, as well as sharing the music I like with the people around me. I love watching horror movies (never alone) and going on long walks, either by myself or with my friends. I am extremely grateful for my supportive family and friends, they helped me achieve my goals and become the person I am today!
